Author: Brian Ma (color01) The name and picture are a bit misleading... this is actually an anti-roll bar for the front end of your MR02. Overall a very good product: the mounting system is pretty clever and intuitive, the roll bar itself works properly, and there is a noticeable stabilizing effect on the front end.
The anti-roll bar calms down the front end a lot and makes the car easier to drive, but how it affects laptimes is up to the track conditions and/or your driving style/skill. There is a bit of added stiction to the suspension, which does take away somewhat from steering response time, and negates some of the benefit of having the bar there in the first place. On tracks with less grip, you might not pull any faster laptimes with or without the bar, but on a high-grip track it seems to make a sizeable difference.
When assembling the anti-roll bar system it's important to make sure that the bar moves freely both within the black aluminum bar mount, and the black plastic "perches" that go on the bar's ends. If they don't, you should ream out the slots/holes or shave the bars a little to let the whole system swing freely (don't go overboard or you'll have too much play). Make sure the bars are flat as well (you can tweak them slightly by hand), otherwise your car will feel tweaked and it will be VERY hard to troubleshoot. Also, when securing the bar with the nuts, do not crank down on the nuts. 1) You'll strip them and 2) you'll prevent the bar from moving freely, if at all.
All in all PN has done a good job with this product; it takes a bit of work, and the benefits are situational, but if you must have every tuning option available to make your car faster, this anti-roll bar should be on your list.
