Author: Brian Ma (color01) An absolutely gorgeous body. It\'s molded in black plastic and doesn\'t have a Gloss Coat so it\'s a bit lighter than other Autoscales. The waterslide decals applied to the shell have visible edges due to the lack of Gloss Coat, but you have to take a very close look under strong, direct lighting to notice. The details are very accurately done, especially the chrome grill, Lexus badge, headlights and exhaust pipes. The front tow hook and two side mirrors are made from a rubbery material so even if you drop/crash the car, they will not break off too easily. The front canards are a different story though, they will snap off in a few hits if you\'re not careful.
The SC430 is one of the best bodies ever made for Stock class racing. It\'s dark, so it\'s a little hard to see, but it\'s light, compact, and has a low CG compared to most other shells. It carries speed through the corners extremely well, at the expense of less rear traction, especially for powerful Mod cars. Although the SC430 is not a particularly stable body, it\'s definitely the most nimble, and if you can handle it, it\'s a great body to run. My local track is nearly dominated by SC430\'s.
As with most JGTC/Super GT Autoscales, the front canards and splitter are extremely prone to catching on walls. If you will be racing competitively with this shell, it\'s a good idea to break off the front canards and then round off the front splitter to prevent any snagging on walls. Adding some bright-colored decals would also help visibility, because the black color of this car happens to blend in almost perfectly with the RCP track surface.
