Author: Brian Ma (color01) This motor mount is one of those products you don't see much of but actually work pretty well under the right circumstances. The 1-piece pod plate/t-bar is a disadvantage as 3racing has not released any optional plates for tuning, but the plate that it comes with is very soft and gives you room to run stickier front tires.
The ride height adjustment is probably too fine to be hugely useful, but combined with spacers and shims it becomes a cool little tuning tool. The damper post height is not adjustable like an Atomic mount but you can still raise it using shims if need be. I found that the stock position was close enough to level the rear suspension for all the damper systems I tried.
The no-screws-necessary mounting system is a pro and a con at the same time. It fits most cans pretty well, but it's a very tight fit and I had problems fitting Atomic cans into the pinion-side motor clip. I ended up filing away for hours and still not being able to fit it, so the moral of the story is, if you don't have to use those clips, don't. Besides this one issue, the mount is typical 3racing (i.e. quite good) quality and at $16.67 you can afford to buy a few more than your average alloy motor mount.
